Every great lighting design begins with understanding your vision. In the discovery stage, we take the time to get to know you, your space, and your expectations.
We’ll talk about what inspired you to seek a lighting designer, explore your ideas, and uncover what matters most to you. This ensures our approach is shaped around your unique lifestyle and project goals.
You’ll also gain a clear picture of how we work — from concept and design through seamless integration to final handover — so you know exactly what to expect at every stage.
At this point, the only thing we need from you to provide a tailored design cost estimate is a set of floor plans. From there, we can begin bringing your vision to light.
collation.
At this stage, we bring everything together. Collation is about gathering the key information that allows us to design a lighting scheme perfectly tailored to your project.
We reach out to you and all relevant partners to understand the finer details — from the flow of the architecture to the mood of the interiors, and from bespoke joinery to special areas of focus such as kitchens, bathrooms, or garden spaces.
By consolidating this insight, we create the foundations for a cohesive design that enhances your home, highlights its unique character, and ensures every detail is thoughtfully illuminated.
execution.
Once all the necessary information is in place, we transform ideas into fully developed designs. This includes everything from 3D visualisations and 2D layouts to technical specifications, cabling schedules, and control schematics—ensuring every detail is considered.
We prepare a complete product specification, sharing an initial draft for your review. From there, we refine and perfect the design through as many revisions as needed, so the final version not only meets expectations but exceeds them.
At this stage, we also take care of comprehensive project management. Our team provides both on-site and remote support, liaises directly with trades, and oversees product supply with precision. The result is a smooth process that guarantees timely delivery and flawless installation in every space.
